The National Association of Student Affairs Administrators has named Berry College Chief of Staff Debbie Heida a “Pillar of the Profession” for her service to students and higher education.
Victor Morales, Assistant Director of Recreation, has been selected to represent Berry College at the International Association for Challenge Course Technology conference in February. Morales combined his understanding of psychology, environmental studies and outdoor education to facilitate a 90-minute workshop for leaders of the outdoor recreation industry. Participants will develop their own environmental ethic and will identify ways to serve as catalysts for conservation worldwide.
Morales, who was previously director of a family adventure resort, is the supervisor for the Berry Outdoor Leadership Development program and Outdoor Recreation department on campus.
